Installation

Requirements

  • PHP 5.5.0 or higher *
  • mbstring
  • PDO

* Tested on PHP 5.5.x, 5.6.x and HHVM 3.x.x

Setup

Installing Mako is easy and can be with one single command thanks to composer:

composer create-project mako/app:4.* <project name>

Remember to make the app/storage/* directories writable.

Mako can now be updated using the following command:

composer update

You can also download a bare bones Mako application if you're unable to use composer.

Server configurations

Apache

Basic Apache configuration for a Mako application:
